Mainz where we viewed an original Gutenberg Bible

Mainz was a stop where we could see medieval  city gates and ancient towers.  A demonstration of the Gutenberg Press was impressive and we saw one of the existing Bibles from the 1500's. The Chagel windows of St Stephens Cathedral were  a beautiful testament to the gift of a Jewish artisit who gave back to his former home, Germany.

Everyone enjoyed a coffee break after seeing the Mechanical Instrument Museum

Every street brought another quaint structure in Rudesheim and a delightful wine garden.
