A Day to Remember. Normandy Beaches

The morning in Bayeux was brilliant as we met our guide Geoffrey to journey back emotionally to 1944.  Our first visit was to Utah Beach and then to St Mere Eglise where paratrooper John Steele's parachute got caught on the church steeple.  We continued to Omaha Beach at low tide with the stark cliffs above and then above the beach to the American National Cemetery.  A day we will never forget.
