Visit to Iraqw Tribal Village outside Babati Tanzania

Many of the Amka teachers are descendants of the Iraqw tribe one of the over 100 tribes of Tanzania.  Together we visited the local chief and were greeted by his 106 year old mother.  We were invited into their hut which they shared with their livestock and where they stored grain.  Local dancers who normally dance for special occasions danced for us and invited us to join in.
